About to replace my current media room setup. Tis about 5+ years old.
Would like some pointers on what models to look at. Budget would be between Top of the range and middle of the range.

Here is what we would like to do:
1] Reciever: Need a new one. Have currently got an onkyo one.
It needs to be able to hook up the following devices.

a] HD LCD 1080p 42" - 46" TV: currently looking at a Sharp.
b] HD-DVD: We decided to go with the HD-DVD over the Blue-Ray. Its a
Sony thing. We just don't thrust this company any more. So no
Sony products for anything.
c] DVD: we are gona keep our current one as it does DVD-Audio and SACDs
d] X-Box: The original one, not the 360.
e] Tape Deck: We keeping our Onkyo one.
f] CD-Writer: We want to xfer a load of tapes to CD.
g] CableBox:
h] Mini-Disc: Its Sony, yes we got bit by this one. :(
i] PC-Media: This we want to surf the internet on the LCD and we rip all our CDs to this to play from. Currenlty a Vista32 dell box.

We would appreciate any pointers, notes or suggestions on products and models.
