Im looking into getting a new RPTV, and I want to use the Amex points that ive built up (ive got plenty).

I'm usually a fan of SXRD(sony), as I worked there for awhile, and got to really like them. (yes, in their electronics division. Not the greatest job, but not these worst for a young kid - watch tv and talk about it). However, the deals they have on the SXRD's arent that good. There is however a nice deal on a Samsung DLP. I dont know what model it is, so I cant do my homework.

Does anybody know what model this is, and if so, how it is?

being the new slim model this is a cool new display. certainly deserves a shot as much as any other type of display, make or model.

It might be the HL-T6189S, You could go to the Sammsung site & read its specs to help you determine. I've the 56" version, HL-T5689S, and its wonderful. Time from power on to picture & sound about 10 seconds.

I'd bet its the less expensive HL-T6187S.. whats the difference? just Blue Tooth?
