Anyone know where to pick up these in the US or will it be import only? Released on both formats, but have not found specs to differentiate for dual format owners.

My wife is an "Inner Sanctum" Member and there was a note on the website. Try www.robbiewilliams.com .

Finally, she is insterested in HDM. You know honey to REALLY appreciate this we need to upgrade the display and the speakers ...:D

From the shop:

Robbie's Live At The Albert show was filmed in high definition back in 2001 and now, with the release of Blu-ray and HD DVD, these formats ensure that, for the very first time, this stunning live film can be seen as it was intended, capturing Robbie at his swinging best and fulfilling a lifelong ambition to play the songs he had grown up with.

Live At The Albert on Blu-ray and HD DVD is not released until Monday, 3rd December, 2007 but why wait until then. Pre-order your copy right here to guarantee your copy and what's more, you can avoid the battle with all the Christmas shoppers.

Cool info thanks. He is supposed to come out with a follow up to Swing when you are winning next year.

i wouldn't call myself a big RW fan but i was working at a retail job a while back and the radio station played a full live set for like 2 hours from one of his concerts (maybe this one) and it was very, very good!

I just ordered it as a stocking stuffer from Amazon.uk. I believe you can also order it from his website. Searched for HD DVD version but the search only showed BD so I bought that one. I'm not sure if there are any details noting any difference in audio/video between the two or extras over the SD version.

Also ordered from Amazon.co.uk for my mum as a Christmas present. The site says as long as I order by December 10th, it will make it in time...

...I went for HD DVD instead of Blu-Ray. My parents are both bigger Blu supporters, but I figured I wouldn't risk region locking, especially on a gift.

 You're right - I don't want to risk that, either. Time to order the HD DVD version just to be safe. It's not like she won't wear them both out, anyway.

I've been informed that as an "Inner Sanctum" Member, you get a special christmas bonus when ordering from the website store.

Hey, its HDM and she wants it - who could say no? (Please hide Dirty Dancing.)

The HD DVD version is showing up on Amazon UK's site, as well as the Blu-ray version. It's a good concert, I have the SD version.

HD DVD is safe in terms of region coding?

There is no region coding with HD DVD, so the answer is yes.

can anybody please say something about PQ / AQ ....thanks

Audio is DTS-HD MA, and PQ is good. If I could take decent screenshots there would be some good opportunities for pics with the dancers and the orchestra. The production does use some music video cliche sweeps and quick cuts, but there are also quieter moments were the detail really comes through.

I'm not patient enough to do a thorough comparison between the HD DVD and BD versions (both of which we have), but they look identical to me (and both have DTS-HD MA) and there isn't anything on paper to suggest exclusive content for one or the other.

Does that mean the BD version is region free?
