Folks:
I have an HLT 6187 and I'm thinking about buying a high definition DVD (either HD or BlueRay). In order to decide which model I should get, I would like to find out if the HLT XX87 series DLPs support 1080p @24 fps and what "flavor" of HDMI is actually implemented. Looking at the main Samsung HLT xx87 thread, there are claims that this model does support 1080p @ 24fps and denials of that claim. There are also claims that the HDMI implemented on this model is HDMI v1.3a as well as claims that it is only HDMI v1.2... Going to Samsung customer service was a complete waste of time - they don't have a clue. So, I'm hoping that some of you have already faced this issue and have found more definitive answers.
