I've been looking all over but couldn't find anything "mainly because I have no idea what I'm looking for".

Thought I'd ask a quick question. Seems the 701 I'm looking at has RGB only, and I looked at the Hdfury, it isn't compatible because the 701 is RGB BD only. How do I connect a dvd player to this? 480, 720, 1080, doesn't matter?

Do I need to get a converter? Are they really expensive?

The HD Fury will connect to it, you just need to combine the H and V connectors with a T connector. THe Data 701 will work up to 720p.

Hi curt yours is the one I am interested in, do you ship out of vancouver? I am near Niagara Falls, Ont. Don't have to worry about duty if so. Do you sell T connectors as well?

I think I found out what I'm looking for. The 5BNC - VGA cable which connects to the HDfury? So if this is true I can use the 5BNC - VGA cable and hook up to a computer correct?

Wow I'm so new

Why don't you just feed the data 701 component video and set your player to 720p or 1080i and be done with it. I owned five data 701 and they put out a great image. My last data 701 I changed the stock hd6 lenses out for a set up hd144 which made me even more happy. The players I used was a hd-dvd and blu-ray via component video. I don't know that big advantage of the hd fury.
