I am thinking of getting one of these two entertainment systems. Let me know what you think. Also, in the second one, do you think I could actually put the front speakers inside the system behind the 3 doors with mesh over them? Would the center speaker be too far from the screen at that point?

Thanks for any help!

First one is Mozart. I like that one the best.

Second one is Allegro.

Those units are very nice looking. There was recently another thread on another forum where someone who had purchased a unit like this was trying to figure out how to get rid of the vibrations caused by the speakers. Also, I would think that unless you have the front of the speakers sticking out the front (not behind the cloth doors) you would get some unwanted sound reflections inside the unit. I have seen several of these units in furniture stores lately so people are apparently buying them. My guess is that you may be OK, if you use modest speakers, don't expect too much and are only using them for TV watching. I was seriously thinking about an entertainment center like this until I thought it through and got some advice from a speaker salesman. I have decided to get a smaller unit for the TV only and TRY to find some free standing speakers that would meet the WAF for decorating standards:). That may be difficult.

Good Luck
