Hi, I'm running my HT with an Onkyo Integra DTR-6 for my inside speakers. I also have an older Onkyo connected to it to power some outside speakers. I use the multi source so I can power all seven speakers at once from one source. Now for the question: I have a really old Marantz 2285b amp which I would like to incorporate into the system. Is there a way, and any benefit to the total sound, if I use the pre-out jacks on either amp to tie them together? If so, how would I make the connections? Thanks in advance.

Maybe if your mains have the ability to bi-amp you could benefit. I don't think I would mess with it.

If it were mine, I would hookup the Marantz to some vintage speakers and use it to listen some old LPs (if your into that sort of thing).
