Wanted to start a specific thread on just OTA HD success on Oahu.

Here are my stats.

Location: Waialae hillside just under Halekoa facing Ewa/West. Can clearly see all of Diamond Head

Obstacles: Parts of Wilhelmina Rise St Louis Hgts

Antenna: Lacrosse (http://www.antennasdirect.com/lacrosse.html) with super success!

Great Reception: KITV/ABC & KHNL/NBC

Acceptable Reception: KGMB/CBS & KHET/PBS (the alternate channel works better than the main PBS)

Missing: KHON/FOX, KFVE (although I got it for one day, it then dissappeared)

Other: I do get a variety of the specaility stations (religous)

KHON-DT broadcast on Ch. 8 (VHF) and the Lacrosse antenna is designed for UHF reception.

KFVE has been off the air for a couple of weeks. Nothing but a black screen on Dish Network as well. Then again, MyNetworkTV has virtually nothing in HD anyway.

To supplement the VHF, I tried one type of VHF antenna to try and pick up KHON, but saw nothing. Not sure if it was just a bad style antenna, or if I'm in a spot that won't catch KHON.

OTA...Can anyone see KHET (pbs) 11.1 and 11.2???
I had them last week and now it is gone. I tried 2 different receivers/tv's and cannot find it. Their xmtr is not far from my house in Waipahu and my antenna is pointed sort of that way. Need some feedback asap. Mahalo

Has OTA changed since the recent storms? All I get is KITV now, while I could pull in a variety of other stations earlier? Is it me or the rest of the world?
