Hi all -

Just sold my 34XS955 to a friend's son after purchasing a new Panny plasma.

He's getting no video or audio from the composite, S-video, VHF/UHF and Cable connections. Component & HDMI (which is how I had it hooked up) works fine...

Anybody else have similar problems? Options for me to give him?

You may have skipped/disabled those inputs when you had it. Have him go to the Setup section of the user menu and make sure under Label Video Inputs, the inputs he wants to use are named something other than SKIP.

Thanks, but we already tried that...A few other possibilities come to mind. Has more than one component been tried as an input? Have differenct sets of cables been used? There is also the possibility that the set was jarred during transport and cards need to be reseated. All of the analog video inputs go through the UZ board, but so do video5&6, which are the functional component inputs. And the worst case is that something is broken.:eek:

I'm still guessing its a simple solution.

Thanks, raoulii - I'll open 'er up after the holiday & try reseating the card. You might be right about a bump during transport.
