Hi everyone!
First of all, I love.. LOVE my Pioneer 4270, and my Xbox 360. I lurk here and love the site as well!
OK, so on to the problem:
I have the Xbox 360 connected to the back of the TV via component cables. Inputs 2 and 3 are pretty much filled with cables (2 for the Xbox and 3 for regular TV viewing in HD).
I bought a Pioneer HTS-GS1 yesterday (HTIB) for the Xbox 360, and I connected it (pretty easy, took about an hour with wire pulling behind shelving being the hardest part). Unfortunately, I can't get the speakers to work with regular TV channels; they work fine and sound great with the Xbox 360. In the instruction manual it says to connect red/white RCA's to the analog jack in the receiver of the HTS-GS1, and connect the other end to the TV's audio input jack - BUT the inputs for #3 (my TV input) are all taken! There no where to place the RCA's. :( I have other inputs that are open, such as 4, 5 and 6, but if I put the RCA's there I won't have video (as the video RCA's are in input 3).
Any ideas? Do I just need to remove the audio inputs from input #3 and replace them with the audio RCA's that are connected to the receiver?
Thanks!
