What comes in the package?

It comes with an art book (not so great) and a bonus DVD. The DVD has some making-of stuff, trailers, etc. but the only great bonus was that it has 6 episodes of a program about famous missions of the SAS. Some interesting background if you're into military stuff.

That said, I was disappointed. The collector's edition is just the regular boxed edition and the bonus stuff crammed into a paper container - not a seperate package with its own artwork. I say skip it unless you just really want to see the SAS documentaries.

I only bought it because it was the only version available at the stores I hit. Not a hell of lot of added value for the extra scratch. They could've at least put it in a metal case for cryin' out loud.

I just don't see the point in spending 40 bucks more, and getting some pretty pictures and documentaries to go along with it, you probably are going to glance at it, and never look at it again.

I buy the game so I can play the game, I pass on the pretty metal tins and legendary Halo 3 helmets that are going to get trashed anyway, personally.

wrong the HALO 3 legendary edition (although a stupid useless helmet the extra content is great, not sure if the limited edition has the same stuff I think it doesent have this thing I am talking about)

there is a 15 min segment with the woman who voices Cortana and it is just great fun to watch, she goes around to see fans and most of them dont figure out it is "HER" until later on or until she tells them, the reaction on their faces is worth it. Plus she is kinda hot!. Yea you can only watch this a couple of times before it gets old but still it is worth it for that

For the record I have bought Limited Editions of games in the past Quake 3 being the last one.

I like the limited edition games. It is pretty cool having the behind the scenes footage and stuff. The only one I don't think was worth the money was Halo 3 legendary edition was not worth the $140 or whatever it was for. Maybe if they had used the limited edition metal case instead of the cheesy plastic cases then it could have been a bit more justified. Of course then again...my girlfriend bought mine so of course I "love" it.

Amazon has it now for only $79.99 now. It would have sold much better at that price.

You pretty much made his point that its NOT worth it. Wow.

I was going to say the COD 4 LE isn't worth it very few are but some have some nice pack ins if your into the miniature models like Bioware, AC etc...

Have to mention the Mass Effect CE also, it has lots of background stuff thats cool if you really love the game. And I concur with Bioshock, i have its figure and the conan one on my mantle, good stuff.
