3.7/10 at IGN. Ouch. Lowest rated Ubisoft game ever?

I had high hopes for this game. Once I played the demo, I knew they screwed this game up royally.

The actual game is a single player glitchy mess but the online is surprisingly OK. It's GRAW in FPS form with the ability to revive teammates, which leads to a real team effort if you all use headsets. I've had some great games with a full team of people using smoke, cover fire and airstrikes to back the other team all the way to their spawn. With CoD4, Halo 3, Mass Effect, Assasins Creed and the like around, I can see the low scores. Sixty bucks... no way.

is the demo multiplayer? i'm looking for something a little more strategic, wouldnt mind giving this a try.

This is actually one of the best Tactical Shooters on the 360. Brings alot of the original Ghost Recon feel back that was lost in the noobed up GRAW series. The actual game is more polished than the demo and scopes can be unlocked for all weapons. Most servers on the demo had True Soldier off which turned alot of people off (radar, red circles above enemies head). Most people that play AA are great fun and you don't see alot of the jerks you would see on other FPS. This is a seriously fun tactical shooter and I think if you enjoyed the style of play in the original Ghost Recons you'll like this. Team play is extremely important and rewarding. Most people couldn't understand the "bleed out" in the demo but if your team is doing their job you should not be on the ground to bleed out. It can also be played solo on the missions and wargames, but is hella fun with team members online. Don't put much into reviews because they gave Halo2 and 3 top reviews they didnt deserve and this is coming from a huge HaloCE fan.

Edit: I should also mention that you acquire skill points that can be used for your soldiers skills such as Marksmanship, Valor, Medic abilities ect...These are important to level up as they increase your effectiveness on the battlefield. My only real complaint is that I wish they had included more maps and bigger maps. As the maps seem quite large when you first play they quickly shrink in size as people learn the ins and outs. You really have to plan every step, which I enjoy. If you like tactical shooters or like deer hunting with a twist this might be something you would enjoy. There is nothing like popping someone halfway across the map and they never saw it coming. Just make sure to play with True Soldier ON.(It should have been on by default).
