I have searched web, spent hours on the phone and messed around with my computer to no avail. I could really use your help.
The short story is this, when I activate the MC on my Xbox 360, I can see and stream my music and photos with no problems. When I go to videos, I can see my MPEG movies but every time I play one, the little circle rotates a few times and then freezes. Only a restart will unfreeze the Xbox.
Specs: MCE 2005 PC w/Rollup 2. Wired connection through router. This used to work to stream videos. Current firewall is Bitdefender 2008 internet security (new, but see below).
Attempts:
-Reinstalled extender software
-Rolled back to WMP 10 and reinstalled WMP 11 (at MS suggestion)
-Disabled firewall and antivirus
-Direct connected (w/o router) XBox to PC
