hey guys,
I placed an order with them back in July i believe. It was when one of the 25% off deals were going, and blade runner had just been announced. Anyways, I placed the order back then, and then I got an email saying it was going to be delayed until past september.
So I cancelled the order on the phone. They said they would send the request to the warehouse. So I dropped the issue and thought it was closed.

Well I just got an email saying they shipped out the order. And the UPS tracking number they provided said it has been delivered.

Problem? I am deployed right now. I no longer live at that address, and I have almost no way to communicate with them. I'm not even sure how they delivered the thing considering UPS does not just leave things on the door (at least in my old neighborhood).

So I'm not sure what to do. As of now, no charges are coming up on my Credit statement. But if they do I think my only course of action is to dispute it with credit card company.

:oAny suggestions?

I have called UPS before and asked them to cancel the delivery and return to sender. They are much better now at re routing packages. If for some reason they won't return it to Warner then have it forwarded to your parents or a friend so you know it will be safe. At that point I would first contact Warner and let them know its being sent back and to not charge your credit card. Last option would be to dispute with the credit card company. The dollar amount of the purchase isn't huge so the dispute process should work fine but it may take up some of your time and a few phone calls

I'm not sure how they could have delivered Blade Runner yet anyway, considering it is not due for release until after mid-December. Were there other items on the order?

Well, i had my wife call the credit card company. They said that they would take it off. They told her that we should never do business with warner again, they get alot of disputes and complaints with them.

But for what it's worth, all is well now :) Some one did end up with free copies of full metal jacket, and we are marshall.

We are preparing to do the same thing with Warner if they ship any of the order that we requested be canceled -- request it be stricken from our credit card. Perhaps you saw my post about their odd response in the other Warner thread about their Better Business Bureau ranking?

Valleybacker,

All contractual agreements are void once your given your activation orders for deployment. It sounds like you have this specific subject already resolved. I just wanted to add if you have any futher problems just send me a message.

If you need anything at all sent to you, your unit and/or family while away just let me know.

Stay safe brother.
