After I record a program or a set of titles to the disk, if I finalize it won't play in other players and it won't play in the LG anymore either.

Is there a firmware update for this model someone could point me to or pm me for an email addy ????

I'll check LG's service site monday, PM me to remind me ... But, honestly sounds like you have a DVD mech problem, either needs cleaning or replaced
