yep, title says it all, a brand new moome design with HDMI 1.3 input and a new 12-bit D/A path
with this I will now have a 100% HDMI 1.3 path in my setup:
Samsung 1400/Toshiba A35 > DVDO VP50pro > Onkyo 885 Pre-amp > Moome XG card
I have waited and waited and waited somemore, and can finally been rewarded with the ability to do a true 10-bit YPbPr HDMI video path ;)

of course, getting much closer on that Gino ;)
with all SDI sources a man doesn't even need HDMI inputs for the video side, good old RGBHV only ;)

Gino i agree that a moome hd/sd sdi card for both the Marquee,Sony And NEC would be awsome!

I think the issue is that an HD-SDI card market would be pretty small. The market for 'regular' HDMI cards is pretty small to begin with, so I doubt you'll ever see someone like Moome mkaing an SDI version. Most people don't even know what it is.

I agree also Kal, I've given up on the HD-SDI marquee input module since our good friend Casper disappeared. I however still believe there are merits to having HD-SDI direct from BD/HD-DVD to a VP
Yep, I'm not questioning the benefits, it's just that the market's so small that it would be pretty hard for a manufacturer to justify building them as they wouldn't sell as much as the 'regular' HDMI input modules.

P.S. Told ya the Moome XG HDMI card would be worth waiting for Gary. ;) The good news is that Moome's actually pretty far along with this one - it's not something he "plans" on doing - it's pretty much complete. WHere he finds the time I have no idea...
