Hi,

Don't know if I am in the right place, but I thought I would start here. Is there a device or a way to connect a DVD player to an older analog TV that only has the RF or cable connection (co-ax) an no RCA audio inputs?

Thanks for any response.

Steve

I believe I need an RF modulator to hook up the TV.

Thanks

I agree...RF is going to look like crap.

I agree it may not look good but my mother (80 yrs) old bought a DVD player and coan not hook it up to her 19" CRT, and this will probably be fine for her. I don't think she is willing to purchase a new TV for the DVD player.

How bad will it look on a 19" screen?

RF will be ok on a 19" TV,the larger the TV the more you are able to notice.
Here's the best to worst connections:
HDMI/DVI
VGA
Component
S-Video
Composite
Coax/RF
