Which is more important to the PQ on a projector: Double Boxing or a Velvet Bag? Or do you need Both?

Actually, it turns out it's a satin bag. It is well known that velvet and satin have quite different effects on PQ.

You are obviously not talking about PQ. Shipping survivability? Obviously a double box. Lots of substitutes for a velvet bag. I wonder if this important thread will reach 20 posts. God.

I must sadly report that Coldmachine has posted elsewhere that the SIM2 bags are not velvet, but a very high quality satin. Unfortunately I can not edit this Poll to reflect that fact. So please read Satin Bag where it says Velvet Bag.

Sheets of white satin. I can close my eyes and visualize Coldmachine on them, it ain't pretty.

Don't worry, its post operative. You cant tell the difference.

Velvet bag increases the PQ the most, the double box increases the bang for the buck the most.

Unless it's double-boxed, the satin bag may not arrive intact.

Does the bag double as a lens-cloth (a la Oakley)? That would be a nice touch.
