I got NBA 2k8 for $28 at Target. It was 10:30am and they had two left on the shelf. The lady made me pay for it in Electronics and I was like "But I wanted to fight with people in the long lines up front!" They had 3 Rock Band box kits in between the children's clothing aisles, but I wasn't prepared to spend very much today.

Crowd was incredible... if the small town of Conway was any indication, today was truly black for retailers.

Any good stories? I remember one year I saw two old ladies fighting over a holiday Barbie. :)

I scored huge today!

I stayed home, played some Gears of War and Team Fortress 2. Some Mario Galaxy was had as well, only 50 stars to go! I got a headache, but it wasn't from dealing with massive crowds and freezing cold. :)

I scored big as well. Since there wasn't one single thing I can't get online nearly any day of the year at the same price, I avoided all the kicking, screaming, punching, and fighting trying to save $5 and slept in. Woke up at 11:00, made one phone call, and scored a 23" Samsung widescreen monitor locally for $60. He even delivered it to my house! Made another call 3 hours later and got a second backup SP4805 for $125 with under 1,100 hours for my IN72.

To hell with B&M's supposed "sales" for the day.

Amazon had some good deals going yesterday,certainly good enough to where it wasn't worth dealing with the insanity that typifies a Black Friday B&M shopping day.I happily clicked away on my desktop in the comfort of my home,and found some good stuff...

Scored big time. A medical delivery company brought one of their trucks to me and I charged them big dough to replace the carrier bearings in the rear axle, the stock market went up then I rented SoF Payback and hosted some great games. Getting up early and fighting with crowds for merchandise ? That's the other guys idea of fun. ;)

Yo Dreamaster... I am also from Conway! Lucky for me I had to work yesterday.I live in Little Rock. My bro-in-law lives in Maumelle and commutes to Conway; haven't visited there yet though.

I did end up going to Gamestop at 10:30pm last night. Found me Oblivion 360 for $20. Even though the GOTY version is now out, I figure the regular one will hold me over for quite a while, and then I can pick up the additional content later for like $15.
