Hello all,

I have just began constructing my HT room and after reading this forum extensively, I have decided to go with 2.35 curved cinemascope screen. I am not DYI kinda guy and am trying to go with products which are good value.

My room is 19" wide and 27" long. I want to get as big a screen I can fit and wanted to do 215" screen from stewart. My question is with projector choice.
I have read good reviews about Sim2 HT5000 and wanted to find out whether it will be bright enough for the screen of this size. ( and also good Picture quality and contrast)?

-thanks

Hardly a DIY project. Maybe this needs to be in the main CIH forum...

The tallest screen you could have in your 27' room is 88" (room length / 3.68) x 208" (screen screen height x 2.37) which fits in the 228" width with some room for side masking.

An ISCOIII lens?

This sounds like a great project, but seeing that your room is 19" by 27", as you say, can only make me think of one thing:
