Am looking to get bookshelves for L&R and a matched Center Speaker. Will be running a 5.1 setup with a HSU subwoofer powered by an Onkyo TX-SR875 receiver. The room is 13X18 with the 13 side opening into the kitchen. Listening is 85/15 HT/Music.

The front runners right now are the NHT Classic 3's and Paradigm reference Studio 20's.

Would like to stay in the area of $1000 for L&R Bookshelves and Center speaker but would be willing to go a little over.

Any thoughts and recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

You can be perfectly happy with the fine speakers that you are looking at.

B&W has a nice setup that will get you to $1k and sound amazing. I opted to go with av123's Onix Ref 1 and Ref 100 since they're having a sale. They'll ship next week :D
