Looking at upgrading my old Infinity BU120 Sub. I've heard the SVS PB12-NSD and like it. I've also read many great things on the edA3-300 and HSU VT-2 MK3. However, I can get a package deal of towers, center and the A3-300 sub from ed for a little less than $1,000.

Has anyone had an opportunity to hear all three subs and have a preference? Based on price, I like the A3-300 IF it sounds as good as the Reviews I've read. I need to replace my old Infinity RS-5 Towers and CC-3 center as well. I was thinking Ascends until I came across the ED speakers, and then read about their subs.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is a thread under the Speakers thread where everyone that has posted absolutely loves their speakers. Just not many posts and would like to see more.

I haven't heard a lot about their subs. Just trying to figure out what many think of the A3-300 compared to the PB12-NSD and the HSU

i cant say anything on ed sound wise, though they have a serious following. it will take a special room to fit one of there subs in the decor. my pb12-nsd is no looker to many but i think the white cabinet with black driver, amp and ports looks sweet. to bad its out of production... black only from here on out. my room is 1150ish cubic feet sealed and sounds good though i am looking to upgrade before the summer.

i listened to the vtf3-mk3 and a 22x20x10 living room that opened to 2900sq.ft. of kitchen, dinning, formal, den and office putting a solid smile on my face. i would be surprised if the vtf2 did not sound good in a room double the size of mine. since it is cheaper then my sub it could be a sure bet for the money. having said this the vtf3-mk3 is now only $40 more then what i spent on my pb12-nsd after shipping. if i did not already have the svs i would get the hsu.
