I just checked an address known to me in the Boston DMA. It is eligible for local FOX HD on E*.

My address has all of the Big 4 available in HD as well as all the SD channels. However, I do not have a Dish HD receiver yet, so I can't watch them via Dish yet.
In every case I've heard, the "HD" channel is automatic if they SD channel is carried by Dish.
What city/market are you in ? Does your local FOX broadcast a digital channel yet ?
Does your local FOX broadcast a digital channel yet ?
And if it does have a digital channel on the air, does it actually broadcast in HD or just in SD? Some stations with limited budgets probably have a bare-bones digital setup that is SD-only.

It would not surprise me that most (but not all) stations have HD setup only for the network programming they pass on. Setting up a station to do original HD programming in house can be very expensive (one of our locals has done it, actually, it's one company that does both the CBS and FOX networks here), but IMO the results were worth it - you could even tell the difference on analog and even DBS .
And everyone needs to keep in mind that the transition does NOT mandate HDTV for broadcasters - only digital. If the station decides that all they can afford to do is convert their analog into 480i SDTV digital - that is all that they are required to do.
According to their advertisement yes all the local chanells would be available when you have "Dish Satelite Connection".

Dish doesn't have an agreement with the local FOX to carry the digital (HD) channel:
