Is there anywhere on the Web to locate evaluations of PS3 games (thinking of Christmas presents and I have no clue as to which are the best games in terms of learning, graphics, etc.).

Just type "PS3 Game Reviews" in google, sites like ign.com will come up. I don't think you can go wrong with these games ...Uncharted, Warhawk, Motorstorm, Call of Duty 4, Ratchet & Clank, Resistance (those have my fun vote).

You're looking for Metacritic (http://www.metacritic.com/games/ps3/).

IGN (http://ps3.ign.com), Gamespot (http://www.gamespot.com)and 1Up (http://ps3.1up.com)are probably the three most popular review sites.
