Am I the only one who'd love an AC-130 game like the level on COD4? That had to have been one of the coolest gaming moments I've had in a looooooooooooong time.

OK - so may be the game would get old after a bit - but man... that level is just too entertaining!

agreed ! that and the sniper mission was my absolute favorite.

Greatest Level in a FPS for some time, love the way the game segways you from "ok now your'e the troops on the ground, now you're the sniper doing overwatch, now you're the gunner on the 130".

The only thing I didn't like was that you really only need to use the 40mm to easily complete the level, it would have been nice if the game "forced" you to use the 25mm a little more since its awesome to use (looks just like the footage of real life attacks in afghanistan or iraq) but its view is so narrow. Also, those are 25mm shells..no way you can strafe over a person and "miss them" like you can in the game :) Thats a little far fetched.

Oh yeah..and while I think its cool, I kinda wouldn't want an entire game based on it...lets face it, its just an on-rails shooter....the novelty is cool however, and I wouldn't have minded a little more of that in the game with some other locations to lay waste to :)

i loved the end of the level before that when you see the big shots flying through the clouds. too cool

I have played that level at LEAST 10 times and it never get's old. I think they found the perfect balance of vehicle missions vs. traditional.

I would not mind an AC 130 game. I love playing the 130 in DC, you get a good pilot and crew and you can own the map.

Maybe someone will make a TF 160 game where you can fly lil birds, pave lows, pave hawks, Combat Talons and such.

I would have liked the green tint like on the tv footage. And that the strobed forces stood out more. I had to redo the mission a few times because of friendly fire. But it was the best part of the game imo.

It'd be fantastic if you could call in the AC-130 in MP and have that view (or take that view from the heli). Putting all the obvious imbalances aside, it sure would be fun.

i played this for like an hour last night and had to be a loser to pass it... here is how you do it.

when you get past the first wave of guys that come from inbetween the buildings two helicopters will come... run as fast as you can before they come to the left side of the two buildings (their spawn point)... they no longer spawn and guys cant come from behind you. its a perfect spot and your guy cant die at this point so you dont have to cover him.

be sure to run back wen the helicopter is like 200meters away because by the time you run back and pick up your guy they ran out of fuel and bailed on me... the time i DID pass it guys were already leaving and i made it within like half a second of the helicopter leaving.... i yelled out when i did it!!

im playing on HARDENED before you guys make fun of me for doing that.
