Hey guru's, I have an issue and I am hoping someone will have some insight on this... I have a Panny 42" plasma, Sony DDW990 AV receiver, Dish Network SD DVR 625.

I have the DVR 625 hooked up with yellow video rca and the audio is digital optical. My issue is, the receiver is only registering 2 channel sound. I tested the cable and it carried surround sound from the tv to the receiver just fine. There is a setup on the DVR for PCM. I googled PCM and from what I read, it should carry the surround sound signals, but none register on the Sony receiver. Is this because Dish isn't sending the surround sound? I can I am confused and would really like to know how to fix this.
