Hi, When finish recording on a disc--Maxell DVD-R, 100 Disc Spindle, goto finalize it, it goes into recover mode, then makes a loud grinding noise, then can't finalize the disc, anything i can do, besides taking it in for warranty service?


Not sure how i did this, stuck a DVD Lens cleaner into the machine, wiped off the DVD-R, DVD+RW i was using, and it never made the noise again not once, checked all my rewriteable discs after that, and cleaned old programs off i already transferred to DVD +/-R or Dual Layers.
