Ok here is what I have and tell me if it is possible

Dedicated Theater

Emotiva Pre/pro
Emotiva Amp
Toshiba A3
Directv Hd receiver x2 ( 1 for media room 1 for 3 plasmas )
stereo receiver ( bass shakers) only
Sharp Mark 12
Marantz 7200 ( 5.1 for down stairs )
Denon 3300 ( outside speakers ) and video
Harmony 1000 remote for Theater

3 hd plasmas
1 Family room
2 Patio outside
3 Master bath

I only need to view the Directv HD receivers on the plasmas


My goal is to control ALL equipment from the Theate room

I have conduit run to all plasmas

Any suggestions?

Anything's possible.

If I understand what you are trying to accomplish, you want to have one directv in the theater and the other feeding 3 different plasmas.

If this is what you are trying to accomplish you will need some additional equipment. One thing to note is that the same material will be on all of the plasmas simultaneously. To accomplish this, you will need some additional equipment. You will need a way to control the directv equipment from the plasmas and a way to get the HD signal to each plasma which will require a distribution amp.

That is what I am trying to do. Will it require an IR system or can I use the RF remotes?

you can use either RF or IR. with an rf system you not need to run a wire from the three plasmas. with an ir system, from each plasma, you will need to run an IR back to the equipment rack.
