I have a JVC 61 HDILA and a PLV Z2 in my theatre room. I want to feed the pj and the JVC from my Directv HR-21 and My HD A2 Dvd player. I bought the Monoprice 4x2 switcher and their 35 ft. hdmi to dvi cable. I have everything connected and the JVC works great. I can feed it everything and the picture is great and the swich does not degrade the picture as best as I can see. Now the problem.....The PLV Z2 will not project an image at all!! I am not sure what to try next. Has anyone had similar situation and a work around? I really would like to watch HD college basketball on my pj this year.

I have the same situation with my DirecTV HD-DVR and Tosh HD-A2 to PLV-Z2. Handshake problems with the DVR, dropouts with the HD-DVD. I have read that an HDMI receiver fixes some of the problems, but unfortunately I haven't found such a receiver with TWO HDMI outputs (one for TV, the other for projector). I would appreciate if anyone who has found a workaround for this would share it.

BTW the new DirecTV DVR will work with my PLV-Z2 if I reboot the DVR, then plug in the HDMI to the PLV-Z2 and power up the projector AFTER the reboot process is done. It's just that if someone turns off the DVR afterwards, I lose connectivity and have to start the process over.

Do you mean a total reset(button next to card slot) or just off then on from the remote? Thanks for the response by the way.
