Hi folks,

I have had my 3910 for about 3 years now a really like it.

I will be picking up an Integra 9.8 pre/pro this weekend. i will now have the opportunity to get SACD and DVD-A via HDMI which the OPPO's can do, but not the 3910. Also, the 3910 does not upconvert DVD material.

So i'm looking to rid myself of some cabling(the 5.1 analog cables out of my Denon currently for the multi-channel audio), and gain upconverting.

have any Denon 3910 owners by chance tried either the 980 or 981 and what did you think about video performance as well as multi-channel audio?

thanks!
Jeff

Also, the 3910 does not upconvert DVD material. Sure it does.

^^What he said, and it does a good job of it. I prefer the 3910 upconverting over the Toshiba HD-A2 HD DVD player I have, both connected via HDMI.
