Hi Guys! I need your feedback here!

Been new to the Subwoofer "scene" I have done my research on the alternatives I have concernig my future purchase. To give you a little background I've been with my current set up - MeadowlarkAudio Kestrels+Petrel+Rear Yamaha's+Denon 3801 since 2000 and want to try something new, never felt before with my growing DVD's repertory (17.4'*15'*9' Family Area). While researching the different brands I noticed that the majority of the offerings come from China, since I want to give US products a chance I focus my interest mainly on SVS. From here I have limited my options to the following:

PB12-NSD
25-31 PCi
25-31 PC+

As you probably experimented although I'm looking mostly for performance (90% HT) I need to meet my wife's criteria also. She loves the look of the 31" PC (not more than that!!!) and understand that they will be a good add to our current set up (pic).

On the 25-31 I probably tuned it to 22Hz achieving at least 18Hz with the room gain. Do you think the PC+ upgrade of $300 is worth it, since I am mostly getting 3 tuning alternatives and a larger amp.

ps. I guess the question is... having everything else equal, is the additional 200 watts a noticeable difference.

I purchased a 20-39PC+ but never have compared it to the PCi only the my previous 80watt 8" Yamaha sub. My first words after popping in a bluray 'Pearl Harbor' and going to the attack scene was something on the order of holy c&$*. It was like the bombs where exploding in the room the floors would vibrated as the bombs hit. It sounded good to me on music as well not too boomy like some subs.
I am sure other subs would work equally as well but the cylinder fit much better than some huge square box.

I had a medium sized room 25x15 that was 'leaky' so I went for the extra 200 watts. But I am only running at 1/4 so I would expect the PCI would have worked as well.

plus 2 or the Ultra, you can never have too much bass.

Get the 25-31+. It has the most slam of all the single woofs baring the Ultra13 and IMO in native tune is very musical. Great sub and worth the extra money.
