Hi!

I was given 2 panasonic tvs They are locked and the channel cannot be changed. The settings cannot be accessed either.

I tried holding the channel key + action buttons together and I get a "system check" type of message on the screen.

It says self test OK but I still cannot unlock these things.


Any ideas?

do you have the orig. remotes or the room remotes. If the later, I reccomend buying a universal remote (cheeply). I had a simular expierence with a older JVC TV.

I unlocked a tv at a hotel once by using the password 1234...try that :D
