I was in a shop today looking at some of the Sunfire brand subs.

Which is better the True Subwoofer EQ Signature model or the True Subwoofer EQ model?

Or would something like a HSU or Velodyne be better? If so which models?

I only really engage sub for home-theater situations (ie. DVD-Movies, digital-cable broadcasts). I use Monitor Audio GS-Series speakers (GS-60 fronts, GS-LCR center). I prefer using full-range towers for music sources.
