I was wondering if the RS1 can handle 23.98 input (as opposed to 24.00) on both its HDMI and component inputs. I'm planning on using component to screen some 23.98 material, and I want to make sure it will look good coming out of this projector before I invest the money.

well I know the RS1 wont take any higher input then 1080i from components unfortunately.

I know it can handle it on HDMI. Not sure about component...don't use it.

thanks, i actually just got off the phone with the jvc rep, and he said that it can handle 23.98 on both.

There's component 1080p24?

My TVIX MA4100SH outputs 23.98Hz media as 23.98 but the RS1 still sees it as 24Hz. But it locks on to 23.97 for the PS3 and XA2 (with 2.7 firmware)
