Any suggestions... My service manual does not list this error code.

The FE is listed as item 14 on page 4-2-1 of the service manual as a video decoder PWB not installed. Is the projector running normal other then the error?

The video decoder is the last card under the metal cover but you don't need it to be installed if your using RGB. You shouldn't have this if running in standalone, might have it if running switch level one with the decoder in the switcher.

I have heard of it before but not first hand as a repair. Curt might have.

Are you reading the error right if ceiling mounted? Could it be F3 (point com error) Doug

FE shouldn't worry it at all. My Xtra ran for years with FE error - as Doug said it just means the optional Video Decoder board is removed.
