Hello,

I know that the Z2000 handle the 1080/24p at 24hz. The AE2000 seems to handle it at 48hz.

What would be the visual difference between 24,48,72,120hz? Does it get smoother and how much?

Is it worth it to have a 24hz multiplier? Or plain 24hz is just fine?

Thank you!

Pitou!

I can't see how it would make a difference with LCD (as compared to cinema). It wouldn't flicker at 24 or 48Hz--the image would just be updated with the same frame twice in the same period.

CRT's actually go dark between frames, so it's a real issue there. If you could watch anything at 24fps on your CRT monitor it would drive you insane.

I think cinema projectors actually project at multiples of 24fps (frame-a, framea, frameb, frameb) with special shutters or lamps.

Understand.

Thanks for the explanation!
