Hey I was wondering if anyone here has used a consumer grade HD camcorder. I've seen some at bestbuy below $1000 that fit in the palm of your hand stated as HD. Not to be confused by HDD which is the disk drive storage.

i have the canon hg10. i don't know what bestbuy is selling right now but I got my cam for ~850 about a month ago (not at best buy).

I have an HG10 as well. It can be had now for around $750. I love mine.

HV20 with a WD-43HD wide angle lens plus a DM50 microphone....sweet setup!
