I have been researching the whole LCD vs Plasma and have come down to two options from each category within my budget.
52" Sony LCD KDL52W3000 and the 50" Panasonic Plasma THP50PZ77

Now here is where it gets interesting...I have found a deal that would get me the KDL52W3000 and the Sony Blu-Ray Player BDPS3000 for same cost as getting the THP50PZ77 by itself.

I sit about 10-12 feet back and I have a 360 w/ HD DVD player and watch SD sat hopefully upgrading to an HD sat setup... Size would be pretty ideal either way I choose but the debate really is it worth getting the blu ray player with the LCD screen over the Plasma for the same price?

Any help appreciated...
