I have two DVD recorders with ATSC tuners: a Panasonic DMR-EZ17K and a Philips DVDR3575H. I only receive over the air TV. On digital channels, the Panny displays a program guide that tells me the title, start and ending times of the current program, as well as the next. The Philips gives me the name of the current program, along with a brief synopsis. In both cases, this is dependent on how much information the broadcaster provides.

Does anyone make a recorder that displays ALL that information (even if you have to go through several screens)? And is there more information that's available that neither of these two display?

While picture quality, compatibility and performance are important, I come across little extras like these and feel like they're holding out on me.

The Samsung DVD-AR650 has a full-fledged program guide (it's the only DVD recorder that does), but I don't know that it would give you any more program info than you're already getting. It has more space to give it to you in (when you press the "info" button after you go to a particular program block), so it's possible.

I think that my Sammy DTB-H260F set top box's guide gives more than what shows in the banner from my DVDR-3575H, but I don't know if the one in the 650 is as comprehensive.
