Can't get the DVD player to read my burned firmware cd. I'm trying to do the flash for the hd745 to get divx. It says check disc. Any thoughts? I did finalize the disc in nero.

Don't know if I'm understanding what you are saying incorrectly but ... are you trying to run an update for a HD745 with a HD841 disc? Possible the differences in models won't let you upload another model's firmware.

I've read that the hd745 and the hd841 are the same model. One is for Europe and one is for the US. However, the hd745 has divx capabilities. If I use the hd841 update, I won't get 1080i over component ( I think). I just wanted divx, but I guess it's not a big deal.

What i meant to say is that I have the hd841 and I want to downgrade the firmware to the hd745 to get divx but It won't read my burned cd.
