Anyone else seen the announcement that Tivo and Nero are to work together to provide a PC solution ? Sounds like it may be Tivo's software/UI running on a PC? If so it could provide a neat PC solution for an HD PVR?

TiVo sells its boxes at a loss and recoups the difference with the monthly fee. There's no loss on the sale of Nero. TiVo spends about 40% of the monthly fee on software development -- but I assume Nero will handle the porting of TiVo's Linux code to Windows.
