Iv had my Panasonic 700u 42 inch now for about 4 months.

I really want to get an xbox 360 and start playing some games..

Can I do this yet without worrying about Image Burn?

Some people play for 5 hours straight and don't get burn in. I'm assuming you've watched your Panasonic for more than 200 hours so you're past the break in period. You'll be perfectly fine, but just don't be stupid as in leaving it on the same screen for a day straight. You'll be perfectly fine, don't worry about burn in with modern plasmas.

Make sure you get an Xbox 360 made after August 28th, 2007. Those have the 65nm CPUs. I assume you're getting HDMI as well. You're going to love it, I'm telling you! Get COD 4, Halo 3, and maybe Mass Effect for now.
