I am trying to decide between the two. Thanks. heres a nice little read http://www.audioholics.com/reviews/projectors/infocus-in76-play-big-dlp/in76-comparisons-evaluation The in76 is nice ( Just like the IN72 ) but i passed on keeping it. . 90 days or 2 years. thats the question. Murph:) BuffaloJim 11-29-07, 03:41 PM I love all the Infocus projectors, but the woot deal on the 7210 is just too good to pass up for anyone in the market for a projector at close to that price point. The IN76 may look cooler, but there's no way it's worth double the price. At that price point, you're starting to see 1080P projectors. Jim tradewinds 11-29-07, 03:46 PM I wonder how many IN76 came back and are now referbs. Did they ever had a problem? I don't think I have seen woot offer a referb 7210 MurphyAgain 11-29-07, 03:51 PM I wonder how many IN76 came back and are now referbs. Did they ever had a problem? Thank you for letting us know ;) BuffaloJim 11-29-07, 04:27 PM I still think the 7210 deal is better. The In76 is a refurb while the 7210 is new. Not that the refurb part would scare me away-I like electronic refurbs. But the price difference is only $100, so I'd probably spring for the 7210. But both deals are superb. Jim tradewinds 11-29-07, 04:32 PM I like referbs too (have not had issues with them, glad I didn't buy a SP-H710AE though), but the warranty part of the referbs is an issue but with the 100 bucks saved and if one wanted an IN76 they can probably pick up a third party warranty for just over 100 bucks, they will probably need to buy the 3rd party warranty at the same time though since most I believe require you to purchase it 90 days before expiration of manufacture warranty. |
