Any certain topic that I should check/search on in regards to upgrading my Samsung 42" DLP to something newer (LCD/Plasma/DLP)?

I haven't been on here for awhile and time to check things out. I would like to go larger, maybe 50" - 60" but that all depends upon pricing. This is for bedroom viewing (about 8 - 10' away from tv).

Don't know which is better, DLP, Plasma, LCD and their Pro's & Con's of each. Samsung has worked great for last 2 years but moving that into Exercise room to be able to watch TV and also have PC connected to it for the few times surfing the web from home.

Any help would be great. I don't mind searching and reading but there seems to be a lot of it so not sure if there happens to be the ONE and ONLY topic I should check out to settle things compared to reading the many about it.
