Hi Guys.... I need help. pelase help

Bought it 2001.. never replaced a new lamp....nothin wrong with the picture,,,,

and now 2007 this happen :

The projector starts , the fan starts , the filters allready clean..
all display works... and the lamp starts i can see the picture(movie) everything it´s allright... ,But after 20 seconds the lamp shuts down
(this happens everytime i turn on the projector).

the projector continues 2 work with displays on... and fans working..
but the lamp shuts down

i really need help...

do i need a lamp replacement? or is the projector the problem??

It sounds like you need a new lamp. Do you have any idea how many hours you have on the machine?

6 - 8 hours a week since... 2001 maybe over 2500 hours...

strange thing is... that i can see the movie picture , but only 20 seconds....
but no problem with the projector and the projector doesn´t shut down...
it keeps running i don´t get it...

please help ---
