Hello all!
My wife and I are planning on relocating to New Zealand within the next 6 months and we've just started discussing what we should do with all of our electronic devices (Plasma TV, projector, game consoles, HTPC, etc). Due to the relatively high import cost of similar items, I'd like to keep as much of my existing set up as possible. Granted, NZ operates on a different voltage and TV standard than the US but 1) I suspect getting a voltage converter would be a step in the right direction and 2) we're movie watchers so we don't plan to get cable TV which resolves the PAL/NTSC issue.

Has anyone else moved to NZ or Australia from the US and been faced with a similar issue? Care to illuminate me on your approach? I'd greatly appreciate any advice you can provide.

Thanks for the help!
Michael
