So, what is the deal; those of us who own whatever large flat panel TV for our living rooms or master bedrooms seem bound to hold on to our venerated 27" or so CRT TV's for bedroom usage. I find this very aggravating as I would like to change out all of my CRT's to something flat panel but 32" LCD's are nowhere near their 40"+ counterparts in terms of nearly everything (picture quality, black levels, angle issues, etc..).
I think that this is why I became so interested in the the new LG G Platform Plasma's as they claim to have an industry leading 30,000:1 contrast ratio AND start at 32" size. Sure, the 32" will probably only have 852x480 or 1024x720 resolution but at that size, who cares. Does anyone know of any 32" display that compares to say the Pioneer Kuro's or the 81 series Samsung LCD's, because, frankly those are the only acceptable flat panel displays that any of these companies have come out with.
