I presently have an older 480P lcd projector, upgrading to a DLP InFocus IN74... I'm told that the picture will be clearer, and crisper when projected to an 88" screen...Is that true...I hope so. Also this projector will allow me to use the HDMI output on my DirecTV and DVD player... Any thoughts...

576 is better than 480 and half way to 720, so yes it should look better I think. You also might get a little shot in the arm going to DLP. Thinner screen door and smaller pixels should equal better PQ. :D

Not to mention contrast should be vastly improved
