I appologize in advance if is this has been asked and answered, but my searches turned up nothing!
For the past few months, I have been using a Moto DCT3416 in my family room. After adding a second HDTV in the bedroom a couple weeks ago, I picked up a DCH3416 for that TV.
Last weekend, I set the DCT to record a couple programs for the kids. When we went to view them......they didn't show up in "my recordings". I had a few beers before setting the recordings, so figured I'd screwed something up. Last night, I was farting around with the DCH in the bedroom. I have never set the DCH to record anything since I received it. However, the two "missing" programs had actually recorded on the DCH.
My question is, with multiple DVRs, how do you know which one will actually record what is programmed? I would have assummed it would be the DVR you actually programmed, but that is apparently not the case!!!
Along the same lines, is there some way to "move" the recordings to the other DVR, so they can be viewed in a different location?
Thanks!!
