Just got the 1000 - my equipment is :
Sanyo Z5 -PJ
Yamaha RX-V1400 - AVR
TW- SA 8300 - HD-DVR
PS3
Are there any known problems that I should know about before I start to set this remote up as far as my equipment.
I know the PS3 is blutooth so I have to find a work-around.
Also, the Yamaha remote is a universal remote and I programed it to also control my DVR - should I "clear" that remote - you know delete all the stuff that I did to it. Thanks for any help.

Here is how I'm using my Harmony to control the PS3: http://www.schmartz.com/main.sc
I purchased a 1000 and ended up returning it as it was defective out of the box. I did not replace it yet - will likely get an 890 instead.

More than likely your Yamaha is already in the database so you won't need to even touch your old remotes. Just give yourself an hour or so to put in all your components and create and tweak your activities. Update your remote and try it out. It usually takes me two to three updates before I'm happy with everything such as button layouts and missing tweaks.

Thanks guys - Another question, to turn off my PJ it needs 2 button presses - will that be a problem? Also - I always leave my DVR on - so when I set up the "activity" watch TV - should I leave out the step
"Turn on DVR" or put it in and the Harmony will know that it is on and not turn it off. Hope that makes sence

The projector will probably already be set up that way in the database (2 "powertoggles" for Off), but if it isn't you can do it under "Power options" for the PJ device.
For the DVR, select "Power options" then "I want to leave this device on all the time".
